7 Test Content

To compare maximum Torque , test the calibration points fuel oil consumption and compare the smoke value during the ECE R49 13-mode.

8 Test Process

Test the CO, NOx , HC exhaust gas, exhaust particulate, maximum torque , calibration points fuel oil consumption and smoke value when using 0# light diesel oil and 30CD diesel oil as the lube in JL493B diesel engine based the specifications: GB 1105-1987, GB 17691-2001, GB 9486-88 during the ECE R49 13-mode. Then add 10%(m/m) EM Oil Additive in the lube , then test again after running the diesel engine at rated rotation rate and 50% load for 6 hours .

9 Test Result

The data about diesel engine platform, exhaust gas, exhaust particulate during the ECE R49 13-mode using 30CD diesel oil as the lube in JL493B diesel engine are recorded respectively in append form1, append form2 and append form3. The data about diesel engine platform during the ECE R49 13-mode, exhaust gas, exhaust particulate using 0# light diesel oil in JL493B diesel engine are recorded respectively in append form4, append form5 and append form6.The date recorded in append form1,append form2,append form3,append form4,append form5 and append form6 indicate that the rate of change of CO, NOx , HC exhaust gas, exhaust particulate are -15.9%,+1.1%,-12.3%,-26.2%, the rate of change of maximum torque , calibration points fuel oil consumption are -1.91%,-1.23%, maximum torque , calibration points smoke value are -11.1%,-20%, detail compare is recorded in Form2.

Form2. contrastive test result of CO, NOx , HC exhaust gas, exhaust particulate, maximum torque , calibration points fuel oil consumption and smoke value during ECE R49 13-mode

Explanation

1. Aim of the experiment

To test the Odor Eliminator’s effect on the odor given off by glue.

2. Materials used in the experiment:(provided by EM RESEARCH ORGANIZATION - NANJING OFFICE):

EM Odor Eliminator, glue

3. Experimental Approach

1) The doors of Cabinet A were opened and closed after enough ventilation. After waiting for an hour, background values in Cabinet A were measured.saved in remark)。

2) At 10:00 August 3, glue was daubed in Cabinet A. After letting dry and providing enough ventilation to the cabinet, the cabinet doors were closed at 7:00 August 4. After waiting for an hour, formaldehyde levels were monitored in Cabinet A at the intervals set in the form above. The results are listed in Data Group I.

3) At 10:00 August 7, EM Odor Eliminator was sprayed in the cabinet. After letting it turn dry and providing enough ventilation to the cabinet, the cabinet doors were closed at 7:00 August 8. After waiting for an hour, formaldehyde levels in Cabinet A were monitored at the intervals listed in the form above. The results are listed in Data Group II.
